Everything you already pay for
You'll finish with: A map of the whole thing, and which part to open when.
You pay for Claude. Nobody ever tells you what's actually included. Here it is on one page.

The bits nobody explains
- Models — different models trade speed against depth. The default is fine for almost everything.
- Thinking — you can ask it to think longer on hard problems. Slower, better answers.
- Context — how much it can hold at once. Long chats eventually forget the start; begin a fresh one.
- Artifacts — documents, code and apps that appear in a panel beside the chat instead of in the message.
- Styles — saved instructions for how it writes.
- Memory — it can recall things across conversations. Check your settings for what's on.
Plain EnglishA project is a folder for one topic that remembers your documents and instructions. A connector plugs Claude into another app. Cowork lets it touch files on your computer. Claude Code is the same thing with everything switched on. That's genuinely most of it.
Do this now
- Open your settings and look at what's switched on — search, memory, connectors.
- Find one row in the table above you didn't know existed.
- Try it once today on real work, not a test.
Before you move on
You can name three things your plan includes that you weren't using last week.
